What you will do
- Lead, coach and develop a team of 6 staff, across showroom sales, admin and warehouse, setting the tone for how the showroom looks, feels and performs
- Drive sales conversion by ensuring quotes are followed up, leads are nurtured and the team is focused on turning interest into confirmed sales
- Manage showroom presentation and merchandising, keeping displays fresh and aligned with what customers and the A&D community want to see
- Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing, stock management, returns and deliveries
- Run the team with structure and purpose, keeping performance, product knowledge and team culture front of mind
- Work closely with the GM on business objectives, margin management and the continued growth of revenue and profitability.
Who you are
- An experienced showroom or store manager from bathware, kitchen, plumbing or an allied industry
- Calm, firm and well respected by staff, suppliers and customers alike
- A natural people manager who leads by example and is quick to coach, and just as quick to hold the line when needed
- Commercially switched on, with an understanding of margins, discounting disciplines and what it takes to hit a sales target
- Someone who is comfortable with A&D clients as well as home renovation customers walking through the door
- Interior design qualifications are a bonus, though experience and results will always speak louder
The hours
Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm. Saturdays 9am to 3pm on a rotating roster, with every second Saturday off.
