What you will do
- Lead, coach and develop a team of six across showroom sales, admin and warehouse; setting the standard for how the showroom looks, feels and performs
- Drive sales conversion by ensuring quotes are followed up, leads are nurtured, and the team is focused on turning interest into confirmed sales
- Manage showroom presentation and merchandising, keeping displays fresh and aligned with what A&D clients and renovation customers want to see
- Oversee daily operations, including stock management, returns and deliveries, ensuring the showroom runs smoothly from open to close
- Work closely with the GM on margin management, business objectives and the continued growth of revenue and profitability
Who you are
- An experienced showroom or store manager from bathware, kitchen, furniture or an allied industry - You know this world and how to perform in it!
- Calm, firm and well respected by staff, suppliers and customers alike
- Commercially switched on, with a solid understanding of margins, discounting disciplines and what it takes to hit a sales target
- Comfortable with both A&D clients, builders and home renovation customers walking through the door.
- Interior design qualifications are a bonus, though a strong track record in sales and showroom management will always speak louder
The hours
5 days a week, with a rotating roster that covers every second Saturday.
