About the role
Queensland is a priority market for the business right now. The foundations in Queensland have been laid over the last two years, so that meaningful customer relationships exist; the brand is known, and large contractors are actively buying more products recently, creating momentum for further growth. Your job is to seek further opportunities to increase your share of wallet with each customer.
You will get in front of the key contractors across Queensland, understand what they are buying and from whom, and position the business as their preferred supplier.
What you will do
- Activate your Queensland contractor network immediately, giving you a head start and commercial credibility from your first week
- Grow share of wallet across key accounts by presenting a complete product offer, giving contractors a genuine reason to consolidate with you
- Convert non-buying customers into active accounts, expanding your footprint and your recurring revenue base across the region
- Manage pricing and tender support for customers, putting your commercial skills to work while protecting margins
What you bring to this role
- Field sales experience in road infrastructure, civil, or traffic management
- Existing Queensland contractor networks you can activate straight away is ideal
- Commercial confidence: pricing, margins, and tender conversations
- Self-driven, proactive, and disciplined in managing a large territory
- Use of CRM and MS Excel is required
- Operational backgrounds within the industry will be considered
