My career in recruitment has spanned three decades in both London and Sydney. My first recruitment role started in the 1990’s, and I worked my way up into a Senior Consultant position for one of the UK’s leading recruitment firms. I focused on senior finance and accounting roles. After a career break to raise a family I returned to recruitment, this time in Sydney working in the temporary and contract space.In recent years, I have turned my attention to the construction industry, working with some of Australia’s most successful building companies and architecture practices, recruiting white and blue collar roles for organisations such as Masterton Homes, McDonald Jones and Hassel. Life then led me to Singapore and the expat life.On my return to Australia, I found my way back into recruitment, once again in construction and manufacturing markets, working with companies such as Highland Pine and O'Brien Glass. The Opportunity
Our client, a highly respected and innovative brand is looking for an accomplished Sales Manager to drive their next phase of growth. They have a rich manufacturing history and a well-established national dealer network,

Leading a team of regional sales managers and channel partners, you will drive revenue growth and expand market presence nationwide. This critical leadership role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record in driving sales performance. Additionally, this role offers a structured development pathway, with close collaboration alongside the executive team to ensure long-term success. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be integral in driving sustainable growth and enhancing market share. Your responsibilities
  • Contribute to the marketing strategies and business plans to drive profitability
  • Manage and develop a high-performing sales team while strengthening the dealer network
  • Prepare and submit annual business plans, including marketing strategies, sales and margin budgets, with national P&L responsibility
  • Drive a sales and customer service culture throughout the network through training and ongoing coaching
  • Support the launch of new products and promote their uptake through the dealer network, providing relevant market feedback
  • Explore and implement new business development strategies as required to ensure ongoing growth of the business
  • Responsible for the ongoing development of national sales meetings and conferences

Your Profile
  • A proven track record of success in a senior sales leadership role, ideally at a national level
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth and develop high-performing teams
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales performance analytics tools
  • An understanding of franchise or dealership models
  • Willingness to travel nationally as required
  • Tertiary Marketing and Business qualifications
