Your new employer

This company focuses on volume home builders and developers, predominantly single dwellings. The company is growing at significant double digits, due to a combination of hiring great staff and providing them with the space to do their job well. The company values experience to build new territories and is now seeking another well-connected sales representative in the volume builders segment.


Your responsibilities…

  • Leveraging your long-term business relationships with residential builders and developers
  • Advice on product selection and following this process closely till a firm order is received (product training provided)
  • Negotiation on terms, supply, pricing, along with national agreements and rebates
  • Building an active pipeline of sales and projects, and use of CRM to track and manage your pipeline
  • Liaise with commercial plumbing merchants on upcoming projects
  • Basic planning and reporting on your client portfolio
  • Trouble shooting and problem solving 


You are…

  • Proven track record of success in sales and pipeline development in residential building markets
  • Outstanding communication skills; written and oral
  • Business acumen and analytical skills
  • Exposure to the plumbing or appliance industry is an advantage, but sales experience in building materials is essential
  • Able to effectivey prioritise your prospects
