From master planning to design through to construction, you will partner with clients to deliver high quality and cost-effective projects to meet both their current and future needs.
Your responsibilities…
- Manage existing relationships whilst developing a targeted strategic approach to identify potential clients and their key decision-makers across the education sector to generate future business.
- Collaborate with senior managers to review business activities and develop the most effective strategies to win and retain business, resulting in a strong pipeline of projects.
- Appreciate the importance of master planning and future planning for clients, and discuss this effectively with new clients and liaise internally to ensure effective project execution.
- Attend industry events and seminars to create new business opportunities, including conducting presentations.
- Present proposals to clients and provide access to expertise within the company to support the client’s decision-making process.
- Maintain a close relationship with clients, allowing for modifications to strategic plans when necessary.
Your skills and experience
- Extensive experience in strategic business development and account management with the ability to build long term business relationships.
- Tertiary qualifications in business, architecture or construction
- Sales experience within a design and construct firm, architecture firm, fit-out business, or the education sector, is ideal.
- Strategic capability and strong business acumen with the ability to build a business/segment or tactical plan and execute it effectively.
- A team player who can work cohesively across the design and construction teams while taking accountability for client outcomes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to document reports and briefings.
- Strong planning with high-level analytical, problem-solving solving and presentation skills.
