About your new employer

What you will do
  • Build and deepen relationships with architects, interior designers, project managers, and contractors, giving you access to projects at the concept stage and the ability to influence product selection early
  • Secure specifications and actively defend them through to construction, ensuring your pipeline converts into closed sales and recurring revenue
  • Leverage project intelligence tools, including BCI, to identify new opportunities, keeping your territory active and well-targeted beyond the existing client base
  • Present product solutions, sustainability credentials, and CPD content to design professionals, positioning yourself as a trusted adviser
  • Manage your pipeline via the CRM with accuracy and discipline, so opportunities are tracked, followed up, and converted with consistency
  • Collaborate with internal sales support, ensuring clients receive responsive, solutions-focused service from specification through to delivery
What you bring to this role
  • Specification sales experience, ideally within commercial interiors
  • An established network of Melbourne based architects, designers, and specifiers who know and trust you
  • The ability to obtain, hold, and defend a specification through a long and complex sales cycle
  • Commercial instincts and competitive awareness, including an understanding of how to position on value rather than price
  • A proactive, self-managing approach with the hustle to chase the pipeline and the discipline to record it in the CRM and convert it
  • An interest in sustainability, design, and product storytelling
